I discover this watch, a Rolex 1680 18k has been re-listed the second time, today.

http://www.ebay.com/itm/131109141558?ssPageName=STRK:MEWAX:VRI&_trksid=p3984.m1423.l2661Purchases made through these links may earn this site a commission from the eBay Partner Network

On January 13, 2014, it was sold for US$12 500.00 and on January 27, 2014, it was sold for US$11 309.99, all the time by the same seller.

Is there anything wrong with the watch or something else?

    Thank-you.

    Respectable member Seamonster.
    You are an observant eBuyer!
I fully understand your skepticism to this.
It could be that he have had two "non payers" on the previous listings. Smells a tad fishy, but in this category there are plenty of dreamers....
Otherwise my knowledge into Rolex specifics are close to nothing I am afraid, so no advice on the watch itself!

    Kind regards

    I appreciate what you said.

Probably you are right but I have informed my buyer-friend, to just give it a miss.

    Thank-you.

The watch looks like a fake. A few pointers, noticed the spacing on the numbers a the 30 minute mark. The numbers are crooked. Also the blue on the dial is not the same shade as the original watch. The arrow under the 12:00 beacon is missing the point underneath. Rolexs' are precise when it comes to parts and details even on that supposed vintage watch. The bezel looks to wide. I would pass on this. Look at the picture below of the same watch.
