    Guys,

Recently got a deal for a Vulcain Cricket, very admiring history for the watch.

Wanting to know how authentic the watch is, did some Googling and apparently not so much information compared to Omega, so was hoping to get some expert opinions.

The price offered is $240, would this be a fair price? Should I pull the trigger?

    Thanks guys.

That one looks authentic to me. Looks like a manual-wind caliber 120. I haven't priced any Crickets lately.

If you'll search "sold" (not "ended") listings on eBay, you will get a better sense of current market for these.

Genuine, a bit worn so the price is approaching the limit but still worth a grab.

MY OPINION IS THAT DARLINBOY HAS GOOD OPINIONS.

That's an honest watch for that price,,,,meaning…you'll won't get stuck with it if you want to trade up. The Cricket is an iconic watch and fits in any serious watch collection…

If you want a mint + watch with provenance you'll most likely have to move to low US 4 figures...
