I am looking at two Speedys on the bay. I have scoped out the several threads on identifying fakes, and most seem to focus on the subdials being very close to one another, with the fakes being well-separated. OTOH, I have seen Omega's own photos of older watches, with subdials well-separated.

So here are two examples. Obvious fakes, or possibly real?

What you are running into is the dial separation is greater on automatics than it is on manual wind Speedmaster Professional (i.e., The Moonwatch) models. as for the two in the photo I cannot confirm real or fake. i can say I have not seen any fake automatics in my day. I am sure they are out there though.

This is the Speedy Reduced model I'm guessing.
