Pretty ordinary movement, manual wind 1000 series, the 500/700 series are considered the best buys and are from the 50s and 60s, the 1970s were not a good time for Omega watches (chronographs excluded). Just not a great watch at any price. Norm's on the money price wise, for $250 as a cheap entry point to a mechanical Omega its doable, any more than that and you're better off saving up for a 500/700 powered Seamaster or something.
