Hi all ive got an enquiry on a cal 562 omega seamaster that is made in the 60s. Im not too familiar with spotting if the watch is authentic. Hope someone here can help before i make the purchase.
Dial has been refinished, not really well. I couldn't be certain, but it looks like the bridge is from a chronometer grade movement, whereas cal 562 didn't have (except for very few chronometer Seamasters) the adjusted script on the bridge. Case is fairly rounded. So there are some question marks about this piece. You could do a lot better methinks
Vinnie, mondodec just told you the dial no longer has the original paint, the movement started life in more than one watch and the case has been polished so hard it no longer has its original shape. I'll add to that that I dont think the hands are genuine omega. What more do you need to make the determination its not a good example?
