I have here a ladies' pocket watch that I would be grateful for information on regarding date and value.

The movement is marked 15 jewels with the number 2103680 and, on the rim of the case, 7497.

The inside of the case, as can be seen, is marked Cashier, Aw. C Co 491014 and then, underneath that, 07

    Many thanks. DSCN7271.JPG DSCN7270.JPG DSCN7273.JPG

The movement's serial number 2,103,680 places it between 1902 and 1906.

It is a nice pocketwatch, but nothing exceptional. Looks like quality C, or "Counter": 15 stones, of which at least four are set in screwed chatons, with a fine regulator "à col de cygne", but plain finishing ( the bridges are undecorated). C is in the middle of the quality ladder. There were A,B, BB, Bs, C, Cs, D, DD then also CCC, CCR, CCCR, D, DD, DDR (in the larger calibres)… etc

It really needs a good cleaning!

If you provided us with the diameter of the movement, it would be helpful to properly identify it. Looks like a 13"' Lepine, or 28,9 mm… but it could be a bigger movement.
