I need the experts opinion on this RAF Breitling Chronograph, for I could not find much info.
    Is it legit ?
If, so, why is there no military markings on the case back ,
Why is it PVD coated ?
Is there another one like this one ?
What is it worth on the market ?
    Thank you for your help.

My research led me to a german military forum where I was told it is ok, a civilian version or a prototype not accepted by the MOD and that it is from 1975.

if it's a prototype I would expect it to still have all of the appropriate MOD markings on the case back.

If it is a prototype (or bid attempt by Breitling to fulfill a contract) then you would need to know which contract bid (Army/Navy/Air Force) it was for. With that knowledge you could test what you see against the bid requirements which set out dial layouts, size, dimensions etc.

One of the mil forums would probably be your best bet.
