Damn, looks like you've raided Dennis' strap collection for those original ones, especially number 3.

I'm actually quite a fan of the glossy black peeled Teju lizard straps for yellow gold constellations.

 

Matte large scale alligator in honey or dark brown. Navy blue works well with rose gold cases (same configuration).

 

These are alligator-print leather. Spring for the real thing for the Connies - it shows!

 

When there is a lot going on with the dial, the strap needs to be clean and sober. Here's some large scale alligator on some of the Captain Chronometers for an idea of how it looks on something similar




Color resolution not great, but the two on the side are black and middle one is dark brown, all in gloss. It would look good in matte or semi-matte finish as well.

 

"Alligator-grain" is a euphemism for "We stamped an alligator pattern onto plain cow leather." Same for "Alligator embossed" and similar terms. That's how come they are cheap.
