Yeah, I was knocked out in the end, too.
Upon posting the listing I really hadn't any intention to bid but the more I looked at the watch the more I was beckoned by it. Oh well, don't know that the outcome would have been any different but I believe next time I will play it close to the vest, Mr. John R Smith

 

The watch made a very good price, but then so it should have because we will likely not see one of these again (with this dial) in a long time, if ever. I think all the free publicity did Mick E a few favours, though, and good for him . .

 

Zowie-wowie, that one's a beauty! Didn't know about this one, and that's probably a good thing. Now I will still have money in the bank after selling my Chopard...

 

I agree with that, the comments made on here from knowledgeable members give added value and buyer confidence to any of my sales so I seriously thank them for that.
