    Thanks for the feedback, this ebay malarky is a bit of a minefield. Any reputable dealers in EU anyone can recommend? would rather get i decent item and pay a little more!

    well, i took the suit off me first, just forgot about the bloody watch, it was after a beer - still no excuses. I feel terrible about it. STUPID! its in the repair shop at the moment, im not holding my breath!

    It was sunday - i went in first thing in the morning, by that time then enamel and 'glow in the dark' stuff and dissolved completely. Not to mention all the oxides floating around, real nasty.

    It seems to hold water in pretty well - holding it out, not so much!

    Hope you don't mind if I save that photo for my clients who think they should be able to swim with a vintage watch like this...
