That's a watch you would wear for daily use. Sought after models are watches that have desireable characteristics, such as complications (chronograph, day, date, month, phases of the moon ) etc...The reputation of watch company is also factor.( Patek Philippe, Vacheron Constantin, Audemars Piquet) are famous watch makers whose watch values are a premium. Physical attributes are also a factor, such as gold content, size of case, and whether the case has so called "fancy lugs ". Watch collecting definately has some personal tastes, so if your not too concerned over money, then collect what you like ! From an investment standpoint I would stick to the more mainstream investments such as realstate, gold,
    silver, stocks, bonds, etc...

Not a particularly sought after model, tinger, in a not particularly sought after case material - gold plated. The selling point of UG's 'Shadow' series comes from their thinness (and here the microrotor is a distinct advantage) and their 'modern' design (in relation to conventional round watches). It's a matter of taste, but to my eye, that design hasn't aged particularly well, although I have seen an example here and there from one brand or another that looks good on the wrist and has some visual appeal. It's also from the 1970s, a sad time when mechanical watches were fighting futilely to compete with the quartz onslaught - I look at that watch and I see defeat. There may come a day when these receive collector interest, but that day is not today.
