This is already mid of year. If you open our forum site there is our forum Stats consists of # of posts, # of threads and # of members.
Currently it stands at 67,823 posts, 5,518 threads and 2,396 members.

What is your prediction of End Of Year (31 Dec 2013 , 23:59:59, Queensland time) position of this stats?

Mine would be: 110,000 posts, 9,000 threads and 8,000 members.
Best prediction will be the closest of percentage deviation average on these 3 numbers. I will keep the tab. Each submission can only revise their number once, with last revision on September 30th 2013.

 

I can't play without there being potential tampering charges.

 

The two replies posted are from the guys who make up nearly a quarter of the posts on ΩF.

 

Yea I know you two guys could swing the end result dramatically.
I may bit optimistic in member number. I guess the member growth will not be forever. It would be slow down somewhere, just because there are only limited people in the world who has interest in Omega AND thinking to join an internet forum.

The number of thread per day has already decline compare to first Q. Whether it is seasonal or permanent, we will see.
Number of posts per thread is relatively stable.

I am thinking many people here like stats game..........but I might be wrong.

 

How many active members? Lets define it as those who log in at least once a week.

 

81,000 posts, 6,950 threads and 3,250 members.

Maybe we're shilly shometimes, but on occashion we're sherious.

 

OK this is my latest revision of my state of forum as End Of year 2013:
Post: 105,000 (down by 4.5%)
Thread: 8,500 (down by 5.6%)
Member: 3,600 (down by 55%, apparently there is some small formula error in my previous model that make member prediction way off)

 

Well, The posts and the threads are within my 1st and 2nd prediction range. The members turn out pleasantly surprising above my 2nd prediction. .
All in all, a strong forum performance. Congrats.........

Oh....one more thing.... I bet the member with highest posts would still be Ulackfocus , with more than 20,000 posts

 

I can ring doorbells, open bottles and cans, and break cinder blocks with my hands tied behind my back too. Plenty of other body parts have multiple functions after all!
