Longines new 24 hour single pusher chronograph: It's big. 47.5 mm to be exact. Yet another cool addition to the Heritage series, it's a remake of a 1950's pilot's watch. The dial comes in black or silver, with a column wheel automatic chronograph caliber L789 made exclusively for Longines.
I think in California, where I live, you'd have to register that watch as a lethal weapon given that crown
My goodness, the date is so deep into the dial! It'd be much nicer if the case matched the movement size. You have to wonder how these watches will be viewed in 10 - 20 years.
A nice watch that looks good on pictures... I don't think it will achieve the same appeal on my wrist. Maybe is the ideal watch for those who are notoriously late to evening events! it may get them a bit early if not careful when reading the time - the hands position at 8 p.m. look as 10:00 would normally appear on a 12-hour dial!
I love their re-issues. I just wished Longines would also offer a reduced size of their heritage pieces for those of us who don't do wrist curls every day.
