    Valjoux 72 powered.
Original NSA signed bracelet looking mint and
    unused/sized.
The dial has some beautiful detailing. Blued
hands where they connect to pinions.
Dial is a silvery cobalt blue starburst that looks charcoal
most of the time head on. Hands have beautiful shiny
enamel. Bakelite bezel with glowing triangle.

Very nice. That dial is in exceptional condition.
It looks rather huge, is it in the "paperweight class" or a bit lighter?

    Beautiful!
The bezel looks the same as a Zodiac super sea wolf of the same vintage. Does it lock too?
Will be scanning the sales forum for it every now and again :).

Add this to the list of Watches I Would NOT Want to Get Beaned in the Noggin With. It's got some mass, doesn't it?

Nicely done - hurry up to get that "dibs" in first, then take your time sharing your thoughts in a separate post. After all, the 30 seconds it took to type a few sentences might have cost you first "dibs"! ;)

Congrats on a great looking watch. I love the Favre Leuba dive watches from that period.

43mm, excl. crown, 48mm lug tip to tip
Fits right in with today's style PAM, JLC Master Compressor, Rolex Explorer, etc.
Everybody needs a "Big" watch these days, right?
Wish I was:) But I had a hell of a time in them!
Not sure? How would the locking work, any idea?

Here's a few wrist shots for perspective.-

I think you either push in (or pull out) the bezel to lock it in place.

I know I sound like a broken record recommending mesh... but this watch REALLY would look cool on a mesh bracelet ;)

If you push down on bezel, it rotates without clicks.
Doesn't seem to pull out though.

    So pushing down unlocks it?

Pushing down bezel rotates without clicking minute to minute.
Let go, and bezel rotates notch clicking minute by minute.
