Exceptionally Rare 1952 Honeycomb Omega Constellation 2648 Caliber 352 18k Pink Gold.

Serial - 12xxxx Case - 2648 Movement - 352

The time has come to let go of some of the watches I don't give enough time and attention to, for one reason or another.

This particular watch I have yet to see in rose gold with this dial style, with the rarer Cal. 352 movement.

The larger 2648 Constellations were the first bumper models, and wear larger than the watches that came after.

The style is simply stunning, a lovely honeycomb dial in near perfect shape. Showing a very light minimal patina.

A quadrented crosshair silvered outer portioned dial with blue steel seconds hand and solid rose gold dagger minute and hour hands in lovely conditon.

Crown is a possible replacement, but is not known what originally came on these earlier constellations.

Comes on genuine keleran small croc strap and original Omega Buckle.

The case is simply beautiful with dounle hallmarked case and strong shape to the bezel, lugs reminiscent to the earlier 2500 centenaries that pre-dated them.

Caseback is one of the nicest i've ever seen on a 1952 Constellation, doesn't look at all polised to my eyes.

Please check out Desmonds Blog about these early Constellations http://users.tpg.com.au/mondodec//Bluesteel SC.pdf

Watch history is unknown, but has been running beautifully within my care. I was told by the previous owner it hadn't been long serviced.

I am asking £2500 Paypal shipped in the UK. International buyers are at cost of courier and fully insured. Please discuss with me any finer details via PM.
