So on Sunday I had some errands to run, and as I got ready I realized I don't have a truly casual (but quality) watch. The Longines in Black leather is too dressy, The Oris with bright Stainless is too shiny, and the Bond Blue Seamaster seemed a little to heavy, but the closest of all. Is there a version of an Omega that would be considered a true casual watch?
My casual is one of my speedy pros. If I am going to be doing something where a completely destroyed watch may be an end result, I have a titanium eco drive that ends up on my wrist.
Waiting for this one to return from my watch-maker. Also have an original Omega 5 row BOR on the way to wear with it as shown on this photo-shop version of my actual watch. I think this will work with almost anything.
I think a Nato strap or Rubber Band is going to be required. I have 3 watches with SS metal bracelets, they just don't seem very shorts appropriate. Maybe I should look at a Speedy.
I am gonna swing by the Houston Omega Boutique today and just try on some Speedy's. I have a small wrist so I am concerned about looking like I am "borrowing my dad's watch".
