    Hi guys,

I'm getting spammed in a massive way. I've tried turning off the notifications through the link in the email (several times) yet still they come. My inbox is filled every day with nothing but OF notifications.

Is there some other way to turn them off? There must be something I'm missing.

    Cheers.

I would like to know too. Didn't see an option for this.

Have you tried clicking the unsubscribe link at the bottom of one of the emails?

Thanks, didn't notice that there. An option should be added to the settings section as well I think.

Followup: I'm actually still getting email notifications even after using the unsubscribe link at the bottom of the emails.

I think your best choice is to go to the threads that have a red banner on your screen, those are marked as "Follow" open them and press "unfollow" each time you post in a thread by default it is marked as followed and will therefore send you a notification when someone responds. That's how I manage it anyway.

Any news on this guys? I understand the band aid solution Sergio is describing above but it's annoying that there isn't an option to turn off all alerts.

In a similar vein, I would LOVE to have the ability to "unfollow" all threads as standard, instead of having to refresh the page after contributing, THEN pressing "unfollow" and THEN confirming that... If there is a subject I'm really interested in, I'd rather have to "follow" those than the other way around...

Look at the bottom of your email(s) and your find in the small print "disable emails from this thread or disable all emails" click on that link and update settings.
Please let me know how you get on.

As I've already posted in the OP, I've attempted that before creating this thread multiple times and it does not work. Another poster in this thread has corroborated that it is also not working for them.

I don't believe it's a browser issue, it seems to be server side.

I click the link in the email, it takes me to the page with the 'Update Settings' button telling me to click the button to disable the notifications. I click that and it tells me the settings were updated yet the notifications still come.

There isn't anyway that you can block them in OF? Not using the emails.
