105.012 I am trying to establish the serial range for this case, and for that I humbly ask the help of respected forum members. i especially ask for those with omega extracts to post their watches. As as far as I know all CB cases were -66. Can anyone show a CB case with a different year? can you also mention if your case back has a double step, or single step? Please let me have as many digits as you feel comfortable sharing... Note the facets on the lugs, indicative of CB cases. i am away from my desk, (this post written in the lounge of NJ airport), so will post my number info when I get home...if ever. here is what I have so far: http://www.speedmaster101.com/105-012/
From the extracts: 24.951.xxx, 6/12/1967 (top) 24.950.xxx, 6/1/1967 (bottom) Both with single step casebacks.
I thought that the dial of a 105-012-66 was different, that the T's around the Swiss Made were nearer the L of professional longer. Am I wrong ? Here is a picture of what I am talking :
So my observations tell me: All CB cases were marked -66 Both CB and HF cases were marked -66 All CB cases have a single step caseback The highest confirmed serial seen by me is 2495 8xxx The Moonwatch Only book reports the highest serial to be 2544 8xxx. (I am pretty sure they trump me in research abilities) What I cannot confirm is this: Which of the 105.012 cases had drive in pushers and which had screw in. I am fairly sure that I have see both. Anyone know?
I might see if I can't get an extract on my 25.44M CB, that late should be after the gap in the Lemania record keeping.
How about the lowest you have seen ? Here's one of the CB's i have recently passed to another collector: Serial: 24.535.*** /F
Thank you gentlemen. I have now updated the page here http://www.speedmaster101.com/105-012/ I am still unsure of the pusher question, push fit vs screw fit when and which.
