Love my Speedy but at this time of the year (Summer) my wrists swell a little making the watch a tighter than usual, should I keep it on Bracelet, NATO or Leather?

Hmm, tough choices, especially as all of your pics show the Speedy looking good on the wrists!! For summer, I would agree with a NATO or leather, they just feel cooler and even if the wrist swells, neither dig into the skin much...and I really like your grey/black NATO!

Thank you for your advise, you're right neither the leather or NATO dig on the skin as much!

Would love to see more participation on this topic. I, for one, have always felt the bracelet is the best for summer wear. I agree that steel can get very hot, but I never feel discomfort from the metal bracelet even in prolonged direct sunlight. Since I am most inclined to sweat during the summer, I find the bracelet is the easiest to clean and return to "normal." I suppose you can wash Nylon NATO's? (I haven't tried).

I agree that swelling in the heat, then contracting in the air conditioning make a bracelet tough to wear in the dog days of summer so I vote leather. NATO straps make a watch look cheap.

You can always try a leather nato from DaLuca. They have the shell cordovan for about 150 which isn't cheap for a leather nato but once you put it on the speedy you will see where the money goes! Plus it won't scratch the back like a nylon would.

Yeah that's the one! I remembered shell cordovan but forgot horween. On the daluca strap it's stamped on the inside. And actually got geeky one day and figured out the different cuts of leather and why the shell cordovan is the best cut of hide for straps.

I hate straps in general, but the Horween Shell Cordovan straps and steel mesh bracelets are the two most comfortable ways to wear a watch IMO, both shape perfectly to your wrist.

And I would do the one piece nato as it sits tighter on the wrist than the double piece.
