Bezel is a later replacement so its definitely had some service parts fitted in its life, hands look sort of luminova-ish, second and minute hand are really white with greenish lume not yellowish. Weird thing is the dial lume looks that same greenish tone as well

Does it appear in Moonwatch Only as a 105.003 variant?

"A RARE GENTLEMAN'S" and "An extremely RARE GENTLEMAN'S"

original enough, no pun intended. Someone in London needs to get a look and report in?

listing says it essentially all original, right? Just seems a redial if really circa 1964

    hey, you never know....

Yes but speedmaster101.com is no bible!

I have only observed this and have no explanation as to whether or not this is original.

The provenance says it could be original and I have seen other short indices dials on this reference - but is it original? Who can tell.
    From the site, two 105.003's:

Maybe it's just a sales pitch as they've estimated it at 2 to3 times the price of the other 003 they have in the auction.

At least it looks bluer than the bezel in the same pictures, so I guess it's somewhat true blue-grey. IIRC, Moon Watch Only only mentions the very rare dial with short hour indices and applied logo for the Pro only, but someone else stated this type of dial was abundant especially for the South American market.

Interestingly both the watch from the moonwatch only instagram feed and the knightsbridge have similar deterioration on the dial too.
