My crap photography doesn't do it justice: a freshly overhauled 1955 501 caliber in an 18k Dennison case (my grail watch!) and a kevlar canoe..... so a good day then!

Great strap, too Gavin! May I ask where you can get one with the color stitching?

I got it from this seller in Hong Kong. I think you can customise the colour of the stitching to your liking.

But just a word of caution, although the quality of the strap is good, I find it's rather thick and not suitable for vintage watches so I am looking out for a thinner one. That said, I am guessing he can do something thinner but I've yet to speak to him. Hope this helps.

    Hi all,

Just managed to win this Scubapro 500 Silver Bezel on E-Bay can't believe I was the only bidder and got it at the opening price either I'm mad or everyone else is! I'm just happy to have managed to find one of these in the UK as most I have seen for sale are in the US which adds 20% to the cost. So here it is

i believe my watchmaker is one of the top Gallet guys in this racket. He claims this is the best multichron dial he's seen in years. Had to do some serious horse trading for this bad boy (I think I broke a few laws? J/K! ... sort of?)

    OK, one more from today...

i want to hear it from the Omega experts for which there are many here...it was insisted to me by a seriously honest omega dealer / specialist that this watch was never worn. Not once. Not ever. He told me if I don't agree upon inspecting, he'll reimburse me for everything. what say-eth, you, gentlemen?

btw ... you are all evil and must be destroyed . I was a nice, normal guy and now I'm a freaking Omega junkie. Thanks ! my wife just loves you guys!!!!
