Here's the cordovan nato for the new Tudor sub, made in Rome. Not Horween, but still looks quite nice.
Here´s another couple of quick phone pictures, I´ll have it serviced and fit a new crystal before I pull out the Macro
Half price clearance. That's why I bought all the remaining inventory. Definitely. These chenin blancs are even better the second and third day so most times I try a glass after opening a bottle but recork it and put it in the fridge for the next day. Air. It's more of an apéritif / dessert wine so we drink it after dinner.
Picked up this nice 19mm horween strap from Janko To use on this And just found another daily with this caseback
This arrived today and couldn't be happier, the pictures don't do it justice but thought I'd share anyway... Ref. 9006 Cal. 19AS from ~1958
Thanks guys, however good the pictures are (or aren't) they don't show how good this looks in person. This has a very cool patina that changes with different light conditions.
Something modern : And a couple of older items (btw I got both of them yesterday, but I couldn't take a picture before this evening) :
I didn't know this had even come to market yet (thought it was due out in month or two). Congratulations, it's beautiful.
You can't drink it all alone! I think it'd go nice with a plate of pears, figs, sweet grapes and a nice salty cheese to balance the sweetness. Yum!
ref. 2764, ca. 1936, arriving tomorrow (making delivery before the holiday, hopefully), after a quick and very professional service by one of the best for these vintage beasts (even ready to swim in!).
Bought yesterday... And it arrived today...late 60's De Ville Chrono Cal. 861 looking in nice shape... Took her for a test drive today.... Will post movement shots shortly...
