Is that an OEM gator or aftermarket?

Might have to try to track one down, I've got the genuine OEM stainless deployant clasp, but I bought an aftermarket strap to go with it that I was never even close to happy with, the segments to the croc scales sort of bent at right angles rather than wrapping smoothly in a rounded arc like it should.

Poor peeling technique. You need to peel off the strap in one smoooooth action, not several jerky pulls. :p

Looks really sharp. The gator and deployant really dress up the Speedmaster. Goes well with the suit!

noob question - I presume one can order the strap / clasp from any Omega boutique? Or would it be "better" (e.g. cheaper, better value for money) to look elsewhere?

I love OEM Omega straps and deployment clasps  but I'm no fan of their prices. Very sharp strap on your Speedy, Puffy! Congrats.

Yes, you can definitely find better deals outside boutiques...I have used http://www.ofrei.com/page760.html for tang buckles, but regardless where you purchase, these OEM straps/clasps don't come cheap.

My Speedy on an Omega Rallye strap and deployant clasp..

A big thank you to Anders for some helpful advice on the OEM Alligator. His shots of his Speedy and the strap are simply the best on the net and the combination is perfect.

Looks great! I got an OEM black alligator for my Speedy recently! Is yours the matte or shiny version?

    Such a great looking combination.

I then start to question the price, but every time I see it again it looks so worth it. Enjoy.
