You sure it's not too clean for you, Kyle? And remember, the gold won't rust, and won't tarnish strongly. I'm really afraid this watch is going to disappoint you. :(

remember, Kyle, with vintage watches it's "dubious condition, dubious condition, dubious condition"

sorry, bud, I can't in good conscience loan you the money for this.

Hey, that's exactly the condition of my RG deluxe when I received it. The measles and dots happened at lacquer part. Somehow the lacquer captured dirts, lints, etc overtime. After cleaning with diluted windex,it is as shiny as new......
Of course we must be very careful with the fonts and markers........

I thought I'd seen that too, then it was Kyle Special, someone must have changed it but I wasn't sure if I'd imagined it or not.

    Dear respectable seamonster,
This specimen is fishy. I thought all Grand Luxe should come with stepped pie pan dial rather than common pie pan dial?
But let's say it is the right dial, the cleaning process result is rather poor (I should thank my watchmaker to have steadier hand).
several fonts are missing, and most are poorly thinned.
Interesting to see whether it would be sold at his rather high asking price, looking at the condition.

ps I already got the right crown for this (thanks to Melhadary), however the second hand is still too short :p
