    This Centenary, for your perusal.

Wrong crown. Wrong hands (too long). But how about the dial - it looks awfully new, and without the usual contrast between the inner part and the (shinier) outer ring. Is this a redial?

I'd want to see more pictures before passing judgement. The lacquer might have been cleaned off of the dial. It's a replacement crown too.

What's with that marker at the "3", it looks like its been mangled some how..... a crystal crushing impact at that point on the phone would explain a reworked face, a mangled three and a replacement crown.......

I saw this. Right about the hands and crown. Take a close look at the other pics of the case.

I'm beginning to think that all the decent Centenaries have been vacuumed up by collectors, and all that we are left with now are the tag ends and dross. Here's another example.

Totally wrong hands, wrong crown, and certainly a redial, all for $3,999, what a bargain -

Well, he does mention the "detail" visible in the pictures. "Detail" being code for a bloody great dent ::facepalm2::

This is superb, but note that this is the 2nd series ref 2500 with the concealed springs and RG regulator, and there are slight differences in the dial too.

Maybe, but this one is a very early example:

It belonged to the King of Denmark and was delivered in 1948.

Well spotted , the lugs are wrong. But what case is it? This is the link Purchases made through these links may earn this site a commission from the eBay Partner Networkto the sale. The movement is correct, the 107xxxxx series serial is right, and the inside of the case back seems OK. Note that the seconds sub-dial is too low, just to add to the confusion. The seller says, and I quote - "Simply the Best, 100 % Authentic!"
