In the next few hours we will be upgrading to new servers, there will be some downtime during that which cannot be avoided. Staggeringly since the last move in December, we've gone from 3500 members to 5000, and our traffic has grown at a very high rate, and while it is more than coping at the moment we'd like it to be better. This upgrade is intended to increase our performance significantly especially on image heavy threads and for mobile and international users.

We've completed the server move now, some people will take up to 24 hours to feel the difference, most will notice it much sooner if not immediately.

We're also working on some additional ways to get around work related filters. We know that some of you are stuck at work during the day in offices with internet filters that are a bit over-the-top, and we intend to help you overcome those and be less productive while in the office.

Correct, with the old servers you had 5 days to effect the purchase of a recommended watch. With our new implementation you have just 2 days to make the purchase. This of course will have a net positive effect on the overall thread count and be enhancing to forum growth.

 

Is it for old threads? As in threads that you subscribed to prior to turning that off?
