A 2652 ! If so, the lugs were over polished then

The lugs are very similar to the Centenary. I have seen some smooth lugged versions recently which I think are original. 馃憥

In my observation the 2652 18 and 14k gold cases appear to be shaped differently than the gold cap and stainless steel ones. It seems the same holds true as well for the 2648 cases with the main difference appears to be the appearance of the lugs. I would of course love to have these watches in unpolished cases but these are the only ones I could find and I think they're not so bad...

Both very nice. I also prefer the connie as I always feel the thick lugs of the seamaster makes the watch looks a little clumsy. I can only dream about owning watches like that though.
