That's a lot of money for an 861 - it *should* buy you a nice Ed White although they have been sought after this last few months.

 

Dare I say it *could* have bought a nice Ed White in the past. Man, Hodinkee linked one for $8K a couple days ago!

 

I keep telling myself that this spike in prices won't last and that some day I might be able to afford a straight lug 321 ;-)

No sir. That Hoodie 'sponsored' Ed White already dissected here (somewhere) and tho it is nice, should fetch approx USD 5000 tops. note I don't recall Hoodie endorsing that one, I think. Nonetheless, Europe seems usually higher priced no matter what.

So would tend to agree with Mathlar on both counts.
