Early paten pending ref. 192696XX serial number circa approximately 1961 Case is in excellent vintage condition. No major dings or dents. No corrosion or pitting. Nicely defined lugs. Original skinny logo crown. Dial is original radium 3-6-9 with very nice yellow patina. Dial shows some aging/spotting, but has no corrosion, scratching or tool marks. Marked SWISS MADE on bottom. Hands are original, with early, straight white seconds hand. Bakelite bezel insert is missing as common with these. Caseback is original with very crisp engraving. Inside of caseback is stamped 14755 - 2 PATENT PENDING SC Comes on NATO strap Cal. 552 movement is in excellent physical condition. No documented service history, but watch currently runs as should.
